Byrl Capron
Byrl Capron passed away at home on May 31, 2004 after a long illness. He was 92. Mr. Capron was born October 15, 1911, in Columbus, Kansas. He married Emma M. Carnahan on August 28, 1934, and they moved to California in 1935. They would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this year. He was employed with Louds Machine Shop for many years and then went to work for Ty Tec, retiring in 1980. He is survived by his wife, Emm a; sons, Jerry Capron of Ontario and Gene Capron of Pomona; daughters, Carol Mathis of Camarillo and Shirley Walker of Pomona; and 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters all residing in Kansas. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 3, at Pomona Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in his name to VNA Hospice of Southern California, 150 W. First St., Suite 176, Claremont, CA 91711. Todd Memorial Chapel, Pomona, is in charge of arran gements.
