My grandmother on my mom's side was a Caperton and I have heard about a book written on this family. I and many of my grandmother's children would like to know if there are any copies left and how can we get them.
My grandmothers name was Zetta Mae Caperton Harris. Her mother was Sarah "Sallie" Sue Gore and her father was Fred Gaston Caperton. I would like information on my great grandparents if any one is willing to share with me about them. I meet g-grandmother Sallie (that's what my aunts and uncles called and what she told me to call her g-grandmom Sallie)when my grandfather Ira Lee Harris died in 1980 and a year later my mom ,dad and grandmom went to Virginia for her burial in 1981.
