John D.Caperton was my grandfather. According to the index under Grady Caperton, John Calvins parents were William Fergusun Caperton and Martha Jane Key. John Cavlin died approx. 1905 of Tuberculosis when my Grandfather Rev. John D. Caperton was 18 mos. old. My Grandfather married Jessie Kate Terry. They had 4 children, one who died in infancy and 3 still living with tons of grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
