There appears to be two Isaac Canaan/Cannon's. I found an Isaac Canaan in 1850 Taylor Creek, Hardin, OH, born in Ohio, and an Isaac Cannon in Adams, Madison, IN, born in NC. In 1840 there is an Isaac Canaan in Madison, IN but his age is not correct to be the son of John and Ruth who was born in 1802 OH. Ancestry.com has him indexed as Isaac Eanor.

I am descended from David Howard Canaan.
He is listed on the 1850 Adams, Madison, IN with Isaac but is listed as being born in NC.

Does any one have more info. to clarify this.
