Am a descendant of Meriday Camp who m. Martha Cason 1-31-1828 probably in Walton Co., GA. They had a daughter, Elizabeth, who m. Allen McCarty, also GA. I have a somewhat rare blood disease (not fatal), Thalassemia minor, that doctors say is usually only seen in people of Mediterrean ancestry. Since I know of no ancestor from that area, I'm polling all my ancestral lines for clues. My brother's daughter, my sister, and her younger son also have it. Do you have a clue for me? Thanks. June
