My family has been researching this line for years and we haven't been able to figure this out.

I've been compiling information and posting it on calcamerons.com with links to my gedcom file.

If you have ANY clues, I would love to hear about them.

A couple of leads..I have the DNA from the direct male descendants of this line (none of the Camerons currently listed match), am going to the NYPL to review some manuscripts of Harry Munro, an Anglican priest connection with the people who immigrated to Sir John Johnson's land, have some clues about where the other Camerons who settled at Johnstown were from, and know that a William Cameron who served in the Royal Highland Emigrants during the Revolutionary war settled right next to Donald in Cornwall.
