Any Cambre's from Mexico?

Hello, fellow Cambre's. My father, Fernando Cambre, was born in Mexicali, Mexico, but other than him I have yet to know of any other Cambre's from Mexico, nonetheless anyone related to my family. Does anyone have any information? Thanks, in advance.

Hi, I am the granddaughter of Louis CAMBRE, who was the son of Paul and Armantine Lambert CAMBRE. I see that I have relatives out there. I have been in contact with Debbie Bruce, who recently moved and is not currently on email. Henry, we are cousins too! Louis' son Wilbert was my father.

Hi. I am looking for any information on my grandmother. Specifically, her maiden name would be very helpful. We know she had a sister Beatrice or Bernedette (as per the 1930 Census). Her maiden name might have been Roberts, Williams or something beginning with an H. Does anyone have any information about her or her sister?

I see that there are query threads about Louise/ Louisa Cambre, and I am wondering if she is the same person as Louise/Louisa ? who married Paul Com in the 1860's? Paul would be my g-g-grandfather. Their son would have been Paul Cambre whose son Louis was my grandfather.

Cambre as Mulatto in 1870 & 1880 Census

Please help me find a starting place. My family's written and pictorial history is totally lacking any info about my g-g-grandmother, Louisa Cambre B1848 D1897 (according to Ancestry.com) She and my g-g-grandfather Pedro Cuquet were not able to marry in New Orleans according to civil laws preventing mulatto/white marriages. Their daughter, my g-grandmother refused to answer questions about her mother when I asked. Now with census info available, I see what she tried to hide. According to census, Louisa's mother was born in VA and father in LA. So many Cambres and I just do not know where to start! Any help is appreciated. Muffy Vestal

We are looking for information on Marie A. Cambre and her family. We believe she was born about 1814 in Edgard, St. John the Baptist Parish, LA to Antoine and Marie Magdelein Leche Cambre. We believe she was married to Charles DuRapau and had a son, Theophile DuRapau, who later resided in New Orleans. We are looking for information on her siblings, if any, and her paternal grandparents. Also need info on Charles DuRapau and his ancestors.

Hiya Everyone,
I am looking for Adam Lovinsky Cambre's parents. I'm pretty sure you all have them. Especially Dwayne. I don't know anything about him, other than he married Marie Amenaide Gregoire. Kids were Marie Leontine, Zoe, Adam Lovinsky, Jr., and Leon. I may be wrong on the mom, though. The census shows that all of the kids were living with grandma, Adelaide, I don't know what happened to mom, Marie Amenaide. Help? Dwayne, I need you again!!! I am trying to locate information on Sarah
or Sara Cambre (she was married at one time
to Raymond Glover). From what I know she was
from Hawaii and lived near Boston at come point
in the 30's. I belive she was born sometime
between 1909 and 1920.
