I am researching the CALLEN family in NC and AL. My own research traces back to John Karr Callen (b. 1805 NC - d. 1855) m. "Agnes" Nancy Simpson KENNEDY (b. 1811 - d. 1897 AL). They had (among other children) Richard C CALLEN (b. 1853 NC - d. 1917 AL) who married Thomas "Tommie" Helm LEE (b. 1856 AL - d. 1944).
I have also found a Callen website with a family tree that I believe follows John Callen's family back to Ireland but I have yet to really study it.
