I am the Great-Granddaughter of Antoinette and Giovanni DeMasi. I was told that Giovanni was from Italy.

My family reigns from Brooklyn and Queens, New York.

I'm also looking for links and clues to my family/family tree; maybe we're related?

I'm looking for any information anyone might have on the families of Calemine, Calemme, Demasi, or Papari.

The Calemine surname was originally Calemme. It was changed in the early 1900s following migration from Italy to America. Francesco Calemme and Maria (Mary Grace) Demasi lived in Caulonia, Calabria, in Italy. Their three sons migrated to the United States and settled in New York and West Virginia. Like several other immigrant families from the town of Caulonia, much of the Calemine family settled in Piedmont and Keyser, West Virginia.

I am also interested in information on Domenico Calemme (1862-1927) and his wife Carmela Papari (8/30/1868-9/7/1939)
(also from Caulonia, Italy). Their daughter, Teresa, married Domenick Calemine, son of Francesco Calemme and Maria Demasi. Francesco and Domenico were not related.

While these families are relatively easy to map out after their arrival in the United States, it is difficult to find much if any info on their lives and family histories in Italy. So I am particularly interested in any information on the parents of these individuals: Francesco Calemme, his wife Maria Demasi, and Domenico Calemme, and his wife Carmela Papari.

I am also happy to share info I've already gathered.
