I'm looking for descendants of my grandmother Angela(lina) Calabrese. I believe she had an uncle or uncles in this area in the early 1900 to mid 1900's. She came from Pomarico, Italy with her husband Giuseppe Scandiffio in 1901 & stayed in the US until moving to Toronto, Canada in 1910.

I am looking for relatives of a Carl Calabrese who would be around 72. He is my birth father. May have been from the Brockton area. Had moved to Conn. and passed in 2003(I think). Just want to see if I resemble him or anyone else in the family

Unfortunately I do not know of a Carl Calabrese in my family line. My great grandmother (paternal side) was Maria Calabrese (her maiden name) born in Salandra, Bascilicata,Matera, Italy in 1867 & died in Toronto, Canada in 1945. Her daughter Angela "Angelina" Maria Calabrese was also born in Salandra in 1885 & died in Toronto, Ontario in 1965. She came to New York in 1901 with her husband Guiseppe Scandiffio in 1901 & I know they lived in Boston for a time & that she had an uncle there. I do not know her uncle's first name. By 1907 they had moved back to New York as my dad was born there in 1907. Their first son was born in Boston in 1903. They moved to Toronto in 1910.
