I am working on the Cains and Griers that lived in what was once a part of Marion County, SC. After 1888 this area became part of Florence County,SC.
Some of these Griers also may have lived in Georgetown and Williamsburg Counties in the 1840s.
William Richardson Cain was born July 18, 1890, a son of Thomas Church Cain and Harriet(Hattie)C. Hyman.
I need more information on Bernice Grier. Who were her parents and siblings...
