hey! i'm looking for any Cahills, as i'm trying 2 compile a family tree. we r living in england, in watford, and we come origionally from Clonmel in Tipperary, Ireland. My grandfather was called James Cahill, and he lived in Cincinatti for a few years, where he got married. His wife was Philomena Murnane. They came to live in Kingsbury, nr. London, England after having two sons. I believe that one of my ansestors was in a high position in Clonmel, perhaps a mayor?
can n e one help?

Hello,
My gg grandmother was Bridget Cahill and they called her Delia. She was born in Ashton Underlyne in England but her family was from Tipperary in Ireland. She moved to Chicago in 1877 (I think) and married Patrick McNamee in 1886. Is this your Delia too?

Hi, I too am looking for a James Cahill & family from Dublin. James was a master window cleaner and had 7 children(4 girls & 3 boys). Could this possibly be linked to yours? Not sure when he was born (possibly turn of the century) but he and his kids moved to Manchester in the 1930s following his wife death.
