Hi,
It appears that you may be looking for Hurleys who lived in West Cork, townland of Shanagh, Butlerstown, Conty Cork. You may wish to check the 1911 census, and should you come across any info, please let me know by reply. I will send you my email address should you find anything. It just seems that there may be some connections which should be explored. Bestof luck. N.

My great-grandfather is Daniel Hurley who supposedly came to the states in 1927. My family is related to Tim and Ann Cahalane who live in Butlers Town, Co. Cork. My great-grandfather went to Texas though instead of Boston is where his relatives were. I live in Boston now and am trying to figure out how we are related to the Boston Hurleys since I was told ever since I moved out here that there are Hurley cousins in Boston, but I've never known exactly who they are and how exactly we are related.

Elaine -
Can you email me at kevmac90@msn.com. I don't think our Hurley's are connected, but I will share what i have as its possible that my Hurley's had relatives in Cambridge when they arrived in late 1800's, early 1900's.

Hi,
I read your message. Tim and Anne Cahalane who live in
Butlerstown (who we are going to visit in June) are related.
My great grandfather had 9 children, I am in-line with child
number 2 and Tim is in-line with child number 9. Child #2
John Cahalane married Nora Veronica Hurley and moved to
Jamica Plain, Ma. Child #9 Timothy Cahalane married Mary
"Molly" Hurley and stayed in Ireland. The two Hurley girls
are cousins. I hope this helps, we live on Cape Cod.

Gerry Cahalane is my Godfather? Is this Gerry Jr.? I have been working on the Cahalane tree as well. And I have visited the Cahalanes in Butlerstown twice. We should compare notes.
