Well hello to anyone who might be reading this. I was looking around online one morning when I found the genealogy site. So, I decided to look up the Caha family name, and I found a bunch of entries. Lots were from nebraska, and i think that's pretty interesting. anyway, i wasn't sure if all of you are related or just have the same name. I'd love to hear from one of you, e-mail me at OlgaMM2@aol.com. thanks!

Well, I'm just starting a genealogy search. My grandparents (Thomas Mary)came from Czechoslovakia around 1930's to Mcreary, Manitoba, Canada. If anyone has any info, or would like more from me, feel free to contact me.

Classification: Query
Surnames: Caha-Hobza-Janacek-Curran-Hamza-Rambousek
Everybody, I am currently tracing my Dad's Paternal side. Backwards I think I have, Anthony John Hobza (F), Anton John Hobza (GF), Martin A. Hobza From Moravia (whose Moravian cross my mother has with the wedding dates & a note - GGF), Frank Hobza and Antonia Rambousek - Moravia (GGGF&GGGM), Then it looks like it goes over to Antonia Caha from Moravia and Bohemia, who looks rather notorious in the fact that I count 4-6 spouses, including, Rudolph H. Hobza - Bohemia; Rudolph Hobza; Joseph Hamza-Hungary & Czech Rep.; John Curran; Franticek Janacek-Czech Republic; and Joseph H. Hobza. I also see her children with the CAHA surname in some places. Was she a CAHA by marriage before all the rest? Was she married 4-6 or 7 times? Is Hamza Hungarian for Hobza??? I look a little bit Hungarian. Who were her parents? Please shed some light. E-mail me at swingingmonkeys@msn.com or post here. Thank you! Carolyn Hobza-Grogan
