I sat up untill 1:00 this morning going over the information I found on your posted family tree. I downloaded it to my computer. I have a lot missing from the Hartman side, infact I didn't have your grandmother in my tree. I do remember some of the Hartman side but never came to me I pick my mothers brain and she is very good but things are getting much harder for her. As soon as she gets up I will pick herbrain about the Hartman side. Looks like your great grandfather Joseph William Hartman and my Great Grandmother Elizabeth were brother and sister. My Grandfather and your grandmother were cousins. My grandfather was Bernard John Ottenstroer. I would like to put my family tree on the Ancestry Web but not sure of all the things that will be posted and if I want them to be. I live in Johnsburg, IL next to Fox Lake north of Chicago.

Ok, now I get who your related too. My grandfather was Fred Joseph Hartman, you are right he had a sister Eliabeth. I don't have much information on Elizabeth's side of the family. I would appreciate any help or pictures to put our tree together. We're you able to download my Tree? Hope it's help you, please let me know what else you might need. Wunders which is who married Joseph Hartman. I have talked to Linda Long who also has a Hartman Tree out there. Let me know if you have put a tree out there on your side. I also would like to visit your site.

I do have a tree but I haven't put it out yet. I will soon. I would be glad to send you by mail what ever branch you would like. Linda and I have been talking a lot the past few days and I am printing a hard copy to send her.

Let me know if you would like the Elizabeth's father down? Also what relation now are you? I talked so much to Linda I get mixed up at times.

Thanks
Dale

Ok I found where you fit in but I have no infor on your family other than your grandfather listed. I would like to get some info. from you, also when you download from what I can see on Linda's the living relitaves will not have a first name appear. Is your tree public or private?

Dale,

It's nice to have a name. Dale Who? And where will you fit into this tree. I found Linda a couple of years ago and she did help me with some of the siblings of my grandfather Fred. I have pictures out there what I have been able to collect. I have also visited the cemetery where most of them are buried. I am not sure if you can see living people or not on my Tree. You can look up and let me know I can also send a link to the tree for you to view. I have added to my tree since we have talked. Let me know what you would like to do.
