My wife is the grand-daughter of Frank Edwin Cacace, born in Brooklyn, NY in the early 1900's. One of many children. His parents emigrated from Meta, Italy - Mateo (Matthew) and Madeline. Happy to hear from any other descendents of this family line who may want to share information.

I am from Santa Cruz California, my great
grandfathers name is Edward Cacace. I was
just interested in knowing if I have any
family members related to him. He moved
from Sorento Italy in the early 1900's to
Santa Cruz. He had a son named Edward.
Edward had a son named Don. And I am Don's
son, Tony.

My Grandfather was Ignatius Cacase (He changed it from Cacace) His father was Ercole Cacace, his mother Isabella Winklebach. Needless to say, he was born 1909 in Brooklyn, NY. When I was at the National Archives in NYC I found three Cacace's in the directory of 1909. Frank Cacace, Fish, Ercole, Candy and Louis, Barber! It seems to me there must be a connection. Could it be three brothers? I also searched the NYC directory and came up with NO Cacace's. I'd love to know what info. you've got on the Cacace's. Please write back!

My grandfather had a brother named Louis, but his wife's name was Isabel, not Jenny....so that makes me think this isn't in the same tree. Our Louis was born in 1910.

There was a Louis Cacace in the news a few years back. From Brooklyn, brother of Joel Cacace who is in his mid 50's (a guess). I wonder if they are relatives of yours.

Another Louis Cacace was my grandfather, he married Margarita Sclafani. Joel Cacace (who was in the news) was Grandpa Louis's brothers son's son. Cacaces & Sclafanis came from Sciacca, Sicily and went to Little Italy & Brooklyn. Grandpa Louis passed away many years ago and Grandma Margie passed in January 2013. This photo is of my Great Great Grandma and Grandpa from Sciacca Italy, also Louis Cacace's grandparents.
