Hello,
My name is J.P. Boudreau of Gloucester, MA. My great granmother was Mary Catherine Byrnes, born to William and Mary Ellen Shannon Byrnes in the bronx N.Y. in 1900. I do know that she descends from the governer of the New Haven colony. I have extensive records on that branch dating back three centuries. I do recall A Hugh Byrne , and will check for you.
