Sometimes I stumble upon interesting info that one would discover only by accident, but which may help a descendant connect. In reading Oliver's History of Antigua, I find that on NOv 4, 1743, one Adam Byrne, Gent. presents his certificate from Dublin Univesity, and both he and Henry Byam, Gent., are licensed to practice Medicine and Surgery." This is on page ciii of Volume 1 [page 125 of the digital book]. At least this will tell someone that Adam Byrne was from Ireland.
