I am pleased to hear from you and to learn that the Byne name is still extant in England. Some 30 years ago I was in London and while there visited the Society of Genealogists, as I recall, near Harrods. I was interested to find that their GREAT FILE had numerous references to the Bynes.
Have you traced the name back to the 1600s? This is the earliest that we have found Edmund Byne in the Colonies.
