The “Bibee-Bibey,Biby-Bybee” Surname project was created in July 2013 at FamilyTreeDNA for determining the Y-DNA signatures of males named Bibee, Bibey, Biby, Bybee and (other variant spellings) who came to Colonial America (some who came to Virginia), in the 1600s or early 1700s.
We are also attempting to determine the ancestral families for these immigrants from the British Isles or elsewhere, to the English colonies, past and present.
To date we have three males in the project who are closely related: One with the surname Bibee; one with Biby; and one with Bybee.
Any male interested in participating in this Project can find more information on the website:
www.familytreedna.com/public/BibyDNA/ You must be a male donor to participate in this Y-DNA Project.
FamilyTreeDNA has a Y-DNA Holiday sale going on now. The sale ends 12/31/2013.
If you want to join the project, click on the tab called "Join Request" and follow the instructions.
