My grandfather is James Edward Byassee. He now resides in Wickliffe, KY. I don't know if he is from Tennessee or not, but my grandmother, Jean Nelson Byassee, was from an area around Paris, Tennessee.

Hi Kelly, Nice hearing from you! I did meet your Dad and Aunt Maxine, but it was so long ago that I barely remember them. It was at another family reunion, at Aunt Dell's house, about 17 years ago. My Mom, Gale, was so upset about them both dying. I am so sorry for your loss, and know that it must be so hard. I hope that your Mom is doing okay. My Mom said that she had such a wonderful time with your Dad and Maxine at the last reunion, and it was a shock that your dad died so soon after. And for Maxine to go at about the same time was a big shock also. I sent your grandma Bert some family history info a few years ago. If she still has it, you may be able to get a copy from her. If not, and you are intersted, let me know, and I can mail you something. Take care, and it was great hearing from you! Your cousin, Natalie

Hi: The surname spelled this way in unusual. I am married to a Joseph Henry Byassee from East Pairie, Mo., and some of his family come from Kentucky ( or this is what we understand). If you have any information please e-mail me. Thanks, Brenda Byassee

Hi: I was checking out the Byassee family message board and saw your message. My Mom, Maxine Joanne, was born of Finus Loyd Byassee (and Bertha Hadsell) in 1935. Loyd's father was John Edgar Byassee from Tenn area. I have other relatives in KY, TN, and Arkansas as well as CA (where I live). What kind of information are you looking for? What info do you have? I may be able to lead you to other Byassees who have info on the J.Edgar line from Tenn.
Regards, Budd
