I was exploring and thought I would try and find some information on my fathers side of the family. My grandmother's name was Charity Byars, my dad wasn't sure of her maiden name, they lived in Illinois in the early 30's, and moved to south Florida before my dad was born in 1935. I think my dad said that his fathers name was Joseph, he died long before my parents met. If you can help let me know.
Thanks in advance, Judy Byars Moore

I am descended from William Byars through his son Seth. Seth was a methodist minister who died in Pickens County Alabama in 1866. I am sorry, but I do not have any information on Lydia other than she was the eight child born to William and Mary Elizabeth Bedford.
