The Villages--Richard H. Butler, 73, died Friday, 8/26/2011. He was born in Evanston, IL. He served as controller and V.P. of finance for divisions of a number of large corporations; was founder and president of Clear Sailing Inc., an information technology support and consulting business; served in the Air National Guard in NJ; was a participant and ardent fan of many sports; played tennis and golf; and was an ardent Red Sox fan. Survivors include his wife, Ann Parker-Butler; brother, David; sister, Judith Fowles; sons, Glenn, Doug, Gregg; and five grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at 10 am Saturday, 9/10, at Church on the Square in The Villages. A reception will follow at 12:30 pm at Lake Miona Regional Recreation Center.
