Hoping to find the estate papers of Pierce Butler. he owned a piece of land in what is now Leesville/Batesburg SC. I'm interested in learning the disposition of that piece of land. If you have information about how his estate was disbursed/distributed--SPECIFICALLY THIS PIECE OF LAND. land described as a 300 acre tract granted 3 MAR 1773 on/near Clouds Creek abbutting land of John Fairchild, Jacob Friday & Samuel Gruber. this land at that time was in Old Orangeburg District now in Saluda County.
