Several unsourced trees here list DERICKSON/DERRICKSON BUTCHER of DELAWARE(with no birth and death dates listed for him) as having married a "COMFORT," and having had a daughter named LYDIA BUTCHER (b. 1788 in SUSSEX, DE-d. 1844 in NOBLE, OH). If my genealogical research is correct, this is the Lydia Butcher who was my maternal 3rd great grandmother, who married WILLIAM ROBERT REYNOLDS.

The 1820 Census of DELAWARE has a DERICKSON BUTCHER living at INDIAN RIVER HUNDRED in SUSSEX county, and there is a listing for a 1836 marriage in DELAWARE between DERRICKSON BUTCHER and COMFORT WAPLES.

How to reconcile these dates? Are there several generations of similarly named DERRICKSON BUTCHERs involved?
