I am looking for descendants (two daughters) of Lillian Bussey who married William Crook JR of Pipestone, MN 1897. Her parents were (as of 1910) Mr.& Mrs Fred Bussey. It appears that her parents (or at least her mother) was in Spokane, WA at the time of her death. Following is her obit:

Pipestone [MN] Farmer’s Leader, July 7, 1910 (source: Pipestone, MN)

DEATH OF MRS. WM. CROOK [at age 21]

Mrs. Lillian Crook died at her home in Dell Rapids, S.D., Sunday morning at 5:30am, after an illness of two weeks from inflammation of the bowels. The decease is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bussey of Holland, she was born in Fountain Prairie, Nov. 30th, 1879, and has lived nearly all her life in this county.

She was married [at age 18] October 12th, 1897 to Wm. Crook [Jr.], at her marriage she joined the Catholic church and was a good Christian woman, always thinking of the comfort of others. Her death is a severe shock to all her relatives as none know that she was not in her usual health.

Her death is especially sad as her mother is in Spokane, Washington, and was unable to get here for the funeral, and it leaves two little girls, orphans, as Mr. Crook died October 24th, 1909 [emphasis added].

The deceased leave two daughters, May, age 12 years, and Nona age 8 years; a mother; father; and three sisters: Mrs. Nettie Smith, of Minneapolis; Mrs. Cecil Sievers, of Spokane; and Miss Mary [Bussey] at home; and one brother, Fred, of Chandler.

The funeral was held from St. Leo’s church in this city, Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock Rev. Father O’Neill officiating and the remains were laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery beside those of her husband. The heartfelt sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved ones in their sorrow. May her soul rest in peace.

Thank you in advance, as our family is researching the descendants of the Wm and Ellen (nee Duggan) CROOK family of Pipestone, MN of the late 1800s and early to mid-1900's. More information is available on the CROOK side. Little known about the BUSSEY side.
