I am new to researching Family Tree. Just browsing and seen your message. Danish connection is what got me. My grandfather, Jens Christian Busk, at age 23 came to USA October 1887 on Wieland from Hamburg. He was German, but his parents were both born in Denmark, names unknown at present time. I believe it was Schleswig-Holstein. Jens and his wife Emma had 7 children: George, Albert, Jeannie, Otto, Harry, Emma and James. Any thing sound familiar?

My father was Augie Busk, born Greenville, MI, USA 1904, died Grand Rapids, MI 9/13/64. Augie's parents were Samuel Busk and Caroline Busk (Hansen), who I believe came over from Denmark around 1900. Does anyone know Samuel's or Caroline's origins in Denmark? Thanks.
