Hi Chad,
I am doing research for my friend, Dorothy. We just returned from Greenville, MI and were directed to the South Stanley Cemetery by a very helpful person at the historical museum. Dorothy's grandparents, Andrew Gommesen and Lina Busk Gommesen emigrated from Denmark in 1885. Your granfather Samuel (Soren) Busk is Lina's brother. Andrew and Lina lived for a time with him at 505 N. Lafayette, Greenville. The house is still standing. Dorothy's mother, Eva Gommesen, talked about your father Augie, and Dorothy thinks she may have met him as a child. The gravestones in the cemetery are for Sam, Caroline and Martha. Is Martha an aunt? Can you fill us in on others in your family? E-mail me and I can tell you a few more things about Sam. We have not been successful in tracing Lina but think she came from Copenhagen area. I will look for more.
