I know of at least one Bush who served in the REvolutionary War: My 5-great Grandfather, George Bush [no relation to the Presidents' Bush], served as a private in General Henry Lee's unit "Lee's Legion". George was b. 1755 VA, son of William Bush [& Frances Lester ?], who was the son of Isaac Bush [& Hannah Sammon], who was the son of John Bush [& Margaret Bruce], who was the son of Abraham Bush b.1622 in England.

George's brother, William, served in the War of 1812 & may have been in the REvolutionary WAr as well. Their brother, John was the right age to serve in the RW, but I haven't done that research.
