Mr. Busey,
I do not know if you will be able to help but I am new at this and Am a descendant of James Buchanan Busey. My family line also comes from Illinois my father Donald Roger Busey spoke of the Busey Bank, Library and street named after the family. My sister and I are trying to figure out exactly where these things are and we desperately want to trace our heritage. I am having a tough time and have only made it back to 1912. Any suggesstions you have would be helpful. I ahve tried the SSDI but of course ss#s really didn't exist.
