(On another page, a request is made to the Marshall Co., Iowa Clerk of District Court for a marriage record of Harrison R. BURTIS. Two reocrds of marriage with dates of July 4 and July 10 1872 were found but the records only shows the name of the bride, groom, and the Minister. It was suggested to write to the Iowa State Departent of Health, Divison of Vital Statistics, State House, Des Moines, Iowa for more complete records.)
Sure hope the info on the SHERWOOD, WOODCOCK AND BURTIS is helpful for someone.
Sincerely,
