Yes this is Nancy. You know that Grandpa's Dad's name was George Ira Jr. and his father was George Ira Sr. George Ira Sr.'s parents name were Azebuh (Rinehart) born 1828 and died 1909. She was born in New York and buried in the Chase County Cemetery in Nebraska where George Jr., Neva, George Sr. and Lillie are burried. Azebuh's husband was William Ira or Ira William (not sure about in what order have found conflicting information) also have found the last name Burtiss. I am struggling trying to find out who William or Ira is related to. Information I have found says that he was also born in New York and he and Azebuh were married in Illinois and later moved to Iowa. William is buried in Iowa.
Sometime look up Images of Burtis Opera House in Davenport Iowa. Not sure if these were related to us, but I found it very cool because this wonderful building has Burtis on it.
