I haven't posted anything in some time but tried to contact an email list today only to find lots of addresses were no longer good. Frustrating! Anyway, I'm back on the trail of John Burris (1785 SC), wife Sarah McDaniel (1795 SC), relative Anthony Burrows (1775-1822), and perhaps his father Edward Burrows (1750-1830). My John is the wall we're at but there is a "theory" that Edward is the father of Anthony and John, along with Thomas, Hutson, and James Edward. All or part of this group came from Albemarle VA (?) to Surry NC to Pendleton SC to Franklin TN to Tishomingo MS and to Gonzales TX. Trying to tie all this together and get farther back. Would be happy to share.
