I have not gotten any further back then old Henry. I would be very curious to see the various theories. I would appreciate hearing from you about this. My experience is it is good to put some of these lineage theories on the board as perhaps others will have something to add or colaborate with it. I always get so much more when I share everything on-line. If you don't feel comfortable with that, you can e-mail me directly.

Soon, I will be receiving a scrapbook I bid for on E-Bay that belonged to my gggg grandmother's nephew, Milton J. Burr. In the scrapbook there is a story of an old cane he had that got passed down from Henry Burr to Joseph Burr to William Burr to William Burr Jr. then to Milton J. Burr, which he claimed Henry brought from the old country in 1680. I wonder where the cane is now? Milton had some restoration work done on the cane in the 1800s in Mount Pleasant, Ohio. The book also has a few personal family letters. Who knows what else is in this scrapbook from 1880, but it is full of newspaper articles and clippings and looks pretty fat from the photo. So I am hoping I will find some clues in it! I'll be sure to share that with everyone by scanning any relevant pages in high resolution and sending to all interested.
