I am looking for other descendants of Philander Burnham, b. May 6, 1821 in St. Albans, VT, d. June 2, 1877 in Willisca, Iowa.My family has recently posted a transcript of his Civil War diary (see http://vermontcivilwar.org/units/ca/burnham.php). This diary covers just the last year of the war, and we believe that there are other earlier diaries out there. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who might have more information about this. We would love to transcribe his earlier diaries and add them to this excellent website. Liz Launer
