I dont have a J Robert, Jefferson Burks or a Harvey Burks in my file. There were two early Burks families in Ky. One was in the area of Burksville and Washington Co and mine was in the area of Louisville and Jefferson County. I suspect both had relatives who went to Mo about 1840 1850 although 50% of the Mo males were killed by the Civil War. If you get any connection to Jefferson or Bullitt Co ky before l850 it is likely to involve my group
