Captain of the RMS Jumny in the 1880s , commander of the SS Manora of the British Indian steamship and navigation company . Dismissed from the company in 1889 for marrying a young girl put in his care for the voyage from London to Queensland Australia. Took his own life January 1900 . I would like to know , what was the girls maiden name that he married , what was the name of her fiancé (a doctor ) in Queensland who had enough standing to get him fired .
