Trying to trace families of a James Taylor BURKITT
born 1829 in Barnoldby Lee, Beck, Lincolnshire.
He came to New Zealand with his wife Eliza BEECH (of
Walkeringham, Nottinghamshire, UK)in 1875, on board
the ship 'Halcione'. Arrived at New Plymouth in September.
I am a decendant of above, trying to trace further back.
