Seeking information on this Burkett family.
Alexander Burkett is listed in Holmes Co., FL in 1850, Coffee Co., AL 1860 & Geneva Co. 1870.
His age varies on each census and children's names changed as well.
Some of his children indicated they were born in GA and it is likely that Alexander was born in GA and not SC.
We know that Billie (William) Burkett moved from Pea Dee River, SC to GA in 1800 but Alexander is not listed as a son!
Alex was married to Anna ?, b. C1805, GA.
Son William H. Burkett was b. 1828 in GA & married Sarah.
William had a son Elijah Warren Burkett,b. 1851 in AL. Looking at the family in 1860 indicates a different name of James W. Therefore, it is not proven that Elijah was a son but could be adopted.
Elijah married Elminor Rials b. Oct 26, 1858 and Died July 5, 1925 in Samson, Geneva Co., AL. Elijah has no headstone but is said to buried next to Elminor in Earlytown Cemetery.
Daughter Susan "Sussie" Burkett married Enoch David Pridgen and son Esker D. Pridgen married a sister of my Mother Erlene Dixon. Their daughter Dorothy Pridge died recently of lung cancer and she was a first cousin.
She sent me a photo of Elijah (Eli) Warren & Elminor (Elmina) Burkett which I put in a book published about 5 years ago.
I believe ALexander was a son of John Burkett of SC or NC but have no proof.

Any help with this line would be appreicated.
