I am also researching the Burket's in Somerset County. I have a John Burket in my database but his birth year is 1879. Have you come across a Frank or Franklin Burket who was born in Somerset County in 1843? I have Civil War records, his marriage certificate, census information, even photos but I can't seem to locate the one piece of information I need to continue searching this family and that is his parents. I realize this may a long shot but I have to try.
