I hope I'm not too late in jumping into the Lizzie BURKE query. I, too, have an Elizabeth "Lizzie" BURKE from Scranton PA. According to her marriage record, she was married to John NEARY, also of Scranton, on December 26, 1905. Her age was stated as being 20. Going by this record, she was born in 1885; very close to the 1884 date mentioned. My Lizzie's parents were Albert BURKE & Mary FARRELL. Lizzie had at least two older siblings, Theresa BURKE MCGUIRE (married to Michael MCGUIRE) & William BURKE (married to Mary DODANE).

Lizzie BURKE had at least two children -- Joseph NEARY & Sadie NEARY (who married a Francis "Frank" FLAHERTY. Hope to hear from you soon.
