Finally after two years of searching I have finally found some 'lost' relatives. John Francis Burke and his brother Patrick Burke emigrated to America in 1882 ....they worked in the iron industry. John Francis married Mary Martin and had 17 children of whom only 8 survived....Francis , Florence, Anthony, John Lawrence, Thomas, Mary (Mae), Elizabeth Ellen and Ethel. I have connected with the descendants of John Lawrence who now live in Miami FL and also NC.

From discussions with them I find that Patrick married and had two sons James (Jimmy) and John (Jack) and a daughter (unknwn). The two sons ran taverns in New Jersey for a long time. It seems that at some time Patrick fell off a roof and broke both his legs and not long after recovering he returned to England but to where I have no idea. If anyone has any details of any of the following then please let me know.
