My grandmother Bellanfantie and grandfather Burk are both from Treadways, St. Catherine. There are a few Burkes still living there on the old homestead and own and operate a large plantation of sugar cane. My grandfather was Vernon. He still has a living nephew William in Treadways along with his sons.
