Hi! We have communicated re Burd. He is my ?3x gt grandfather. I'm really interested in this info. If I understand; Bertram was a 28 year old convict in 1739, married Hannah in NY and died in1745 in NY. He could be the grandfather of Bart, but if he's the same Bartholomew landowner 1740, he could not be the same landowner 1749 and 1753 and his child would still be a minor to be owner. Also the land was in PA, not NY. Bart was born probably in NJ.So I would think Bart may be related to the Bartholomew PA landowner and the Bertram/ Bartholomew is different . Just my thoughts.
