I am searching for information about Peter BURD, his ancestors and siblings. Peter was born 1785/90, probably in NJ. Was on the tax lists of Union Co., PA from 1811 to 1820, having died in the latter year. He fathered 5 children: Mary, Lamira, Margaret, John and Isaac. Another Peter lived in Union Co., PA at the same time. This Peter was born 1765 or prior and I believe died about 1825. It is likely that he was the father of the first Peter mentioned above. Peter seems to have been a popular given name in NJ at one time. This has complicated my research.
