TENNEY, Horace Franklin (# 1606), born in Raymond, ME April 25, 1841. Son of Stephen and Rachel (Strout) above. Married in Beaufort, N.C., Mary O. Burbridge, who was born in Compton, Canada East, December 21, 1840. In 1860, went to Beaufort, N.C., where he remained until 1870, when he removed to Haverhill, MA, where he died September 22, 1902, of Bright's disease. Quiet and unassuming in his manner, and possessed sterling qualities of mind and heart. A shoemaker. Buried at Hilldale Cemetery, Haverhill. Mrs., Tenney died April 14, 1904. Buried at Hilldale Cemetery, Haverhill. Sister Hattie buried Hilldale also.
