I am looking for the origin of the
BUMSTEAD surname. There were numerous Bumsteads in ear;y colonial
America in
New York and
Connecticut and I am researching them.
Does anyone know if the
BUMSTEAD surname has any relation to the
BUMSTEAD area in
Essex county?
