Pleased to hear from you. Yes, I think we are related, as I found both your grandfather and his other sister, Elizabeth, on my family tree of descendants of James Budgen (1843-1909). It is interesting that Mary Ann also named two of her children Thomas Edward and Elizabeth. I was particularly close to "Uncle Tom", my grandmother's brother, who also lived in Eltham. My mother's family lived in Plumstead and Shooter's Hill (I was born in Woolwich). Mum is still alive and remembers Mary Ann. Would be interested to correspond with you and learn more about your side of the family. I have a photo of Mary Ann when she was young, which I could scan for you, if you like.
