Searching for the ancestors and parents of Francis Henry Budd.

Family stories and old letters indicate that Francis Henry Budd was the son of Wesley Budd and Hannah (Dunckle?). It is unknown what happened to Wesley, but Hannah eventually married a McIntyre. Francis Henry Budd went to live with his mother's sister and her husband, David and Harriet Thomson. He was adopted by Harriet and David, and took the Thomson name.

Other researchers have indicated the my Wesley Budd was the son of Eli Budd and Ann Carman. Hand-written notes from one of my older family members follows this same lineage back several generations.

I am searching for "proof" of Francis Henry Budd's parentage; the full name of his mother; and verification of his father's parentage to the Budd line.

Any help would be appreciated.
