Mrs. Julita Mae Buckman, the daughter of James Edelen of Mansville and the late Ethel Osborne Edelen, was born Aug. 19, 1960 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Friday, May 27, 2011 in Knifley at her home. She was 50 years of age. She united in marriage on April 1, 1989 to James Conway Buckman of Knifley, who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Bradley and Nicholas Galarza, both of Campbellsville; two step-daughters, Dana Skaggs or Campbellsville and Jessie Pyles of Nashville; three brothers, Tim, Phillip and Joe and his wife Lois all of Mansville; three sisters and spouses, Regina and Jeff Shively of Campbellsville, Kim and Steve Hayden of Mansville and Evelyn and Tommy Hayden of Taylor County. Nine grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends survive. The family has chosen cremation.There will be no visitation or funeral. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg is in charge of arrangements.
